One World of Hope (3.8MB)

1. We are one people, in one world, through ages we have grown
And we worship the Creator who by many names is known
We have listened to His prophets, who His ways to us have shown
His love must be our own!

Chorus
We, the world now sing forever, to let all know we stand together
Surviving threats of terror, hunger, poverty, disease,
We are not against, but for each other, all will see, but please
Wait not for the future, but the present moment seize,
One world with love right now.

2. Whether Buda or Mohammed, Jesus Christ or Abraham
Is the one that brought the teachings, in their words a common strand
We should all love our Creator and each one by whom we stand
And our neighbors far and near.

3. We have our different armies, and they all to peace should lead
And our faiths and mighty prophets should the one Creator heed
As throughout all time he's shown us through His word and through His deed
The way to live is love

4. In these times of rapid change, the world is often filled with strife,
But with the love of our Creator we need not fear our life,
As long as we are ready, ere we leave by age or knife
Our journey's but to love.

Countermelody for Chorus

Love for all is all we need
All the world we can feed
Love will grow Let's not wait!
Nows the time to end all hate.
Love our brothers, sisters too.
All are one in Love. From our one Creator
Every where we look now love has come!

Bronco Lament

This little song was written to soothe our feelings after an old Bronco NFL footbal loss. It is sung to the tune of

"The Yellow Rose of Texas"

In December we were careful , so our stars would not get hurt.

We'd save them for the playoffs, with breaks we would not flirt.

But when we finally got there, for the rest we had to pay.

It seems what we'd been saving, had forgotten how to play.

Oh we really love the Broncos

All season they were great

And soon again they will excel

But, oops, it is too late.

Oh we really wanted John and all his friends to get a ring

We wanted a great victory to be our song to sing.

But now that it is over, one thing helps us endure

Now we won't lose the Super Bowl, of that we're really sure!

A White House Saga*
(To "MTA" or "Super Skier")
(If you don't know those songs - this song doesn't apply)

Oh, he was a baby boomer when he went to the White House,

He still is a boomer today.

And knowin' he's the first to ever live in the White House

Explains what he'll do and say.

Chorus:

And will he ever learn, what he wants, what he yearns?

Is it change or just the thought?

While he leads us on to the year 2000, will he lead where he once thought he ought?

As our generation leaves three decades behind us,

We may no longer think what we taught.

And the world he could change is the world that protects us,

So he may not change a lot.

Chorus

Oh, Bill Clinton once ran to the safety of England,

Bad battles were not his to fight.

As he carries all our futures to the turn of the century,

Let's pray that he fights for what's right!

Chorus
